New year, new me!

Okay that’s mostly not true. I mean, yes, it’s a new year…but am I a new me? Not yet, anyway. Well, maybe. This year–this new administration here in the states–has made me feel that I need to be a bit more politically proactive. It’s the only thing that seems to stem the tide flood of fuckery a bit. Every day there are several fresh new hells and you’ve just gotta stand up for yourself and for those around you. It’s exhausting to even keep one’s chin up at this point and not feel like all is lost. It’s not. Not yet. Keep fighting the good fight and all that.

I recently wrapped up a 5-part mini-webseries called Buyer Beware; it’s super gay horror/comedy made entirely with dolls. Each episode features a cursed object that wreaks havoc in the lives of whomever bought it. A bit like Friday the 13th The Series, which I absolutely adored. Buyer Beware is much more ridiculous, however, and sadly there is no Robey to be found within. Keep an eye on this space for a release date!

Otherwise, I’m dipping my toe back into the Final Girl waters a bit. I’d like to focus on writing this year and finishing up some books and the such that have been mouldering in various states forever. Hmm, maybe it is a new me after all, wow!
